What is "Le Journal de BJ au bureau" ?

Le Journal de BJ au bureau is a book.

It has been published in France in June 2004 and is enjoying a big success.

This book aims to teach high end management and business to non insiders, young professional and middle managers, in the most didactic and funny ways as possible.

The diary writer is a young candid man who begin his work life. He meets thirty excellent professionals (managers, colleagues, consultants, suppliers...) and talk with them at the coffee machine, in his office, at lunch, in meetings, in the airplane, in the taxi...on different management and business issues. In the night, he writes his diary relating what he heard, understood, learnt on business and management.

So the book is written like a diary with 30% dedicated to personal life of the narrator and 70% full focus on business concepts, talks, lessons... each time displayed in a convenient way.

This book intends to be the most funny of every management books. Given it is a diary, the reader feels close to the author who faces the same problem, shares the same needs, fears the same things, dreams of the same ideal world... The diary format and tone create convenience for the reader who
better read the business lessons included all along chapters.

What happens in the personal life of the diary give the reader the will to turn the page just to know what's next (serial principle). It is reinforced by the need to learn new business and management things to come with the diary writer's work life development.

The book is built like the reader's job covering the three parts of any job: the environment in which a job is done, the know how requested to do any job and the attitude and behaviors requested by any job. It confronts theory with reality, put it into practice.
